The SLUG CONTROL VALVE with Float Pilot is designed for safe and efficient aircraft fueling. Installed in the filter separator, it automatically manages water levels to prevent contamination. If the water level rises above a set limit, the Slug Control Valve (Fueling Valve) closes, while the Water Drain Valve opens to remove excess water. Once the water level is safe, the Fueling Valve opens, and the Drain Valve closes.
This system is foolproof and used in major Indian airports such as Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Chennai, as well as several Air Force bases. The Flow-Tek Slug Valve ensures fuel flow is allowed only when the water level is low and stops flow when high water levels are reached, preventing contamination.
